PALM Night is on every third Tuesday at 7 p.m.! All are welcome!
You may ask, “Isn’t PALM the concave part of the human hand?” or “Isn’t PALM a leaf of the palm tree?” or “Isn’t that a symbol of victory as in Palm Sunday?” Yes, you are all correct. But did you know that PALM is also the name of music & art ministry at Knox Weyburn? It is formed from the initial letters of Peace, Art, Love, and Music. Everyone needs and wants peace and love in life, and we want to help you experience them at PALM. Sounds cool? Then, why don’t you come join? Sing something like “knockin on heaven’s door…” Now you may realize what it is. Yes, PALM is not necessarily a religious event. It’s a community event for everyone!
PALM Jam/Art Night is open to all, no matter who you are.
Its goal is to connect each other and create ethos of peace, love, and joy through music and art. At PALM nights, you may grasp them. Held on a regular basis – currently on every third Tuesday evening, music at PALM Jam night will uplift your spirit. Or, artwork at Art night will make people smile. Let’s make Knox Hall joyfully noisy. Whether you believe in God, Supreme Being, Mother Nature, your Self, or even atheism…All are welcome! Let’s have some fun at Knox Hall!
