Sunnidale Corners has a long tradition of Christian worship services, starting with meetings that took place in a log school house in the 1830s. Worshipers sat on backless benches to “enjoy” the 3 hour worship service delivered in Gaelic by circuit riding ministers.
In 1876, the current, one room church sanctuary was erected. It was one of many rural churches situated every 3-4 miles apart.
In 2001 a small addition was added to improve the facilities with a ramp for accessibility, washrooms, a kitchen and small meeting rooms.
