THANK YOU to Mr. Doug Gillard for leading our worship today.

UPCOMING SERVICES: Mr. Doug Gillard will lead our services on Sept. 29. On Oct. 6, we will celebrate World Communion Sunday with Rev. Robert Shaw, and Doug Gillard will be with us again for Oct. 13, 20 and 27.

SUNDAY, SEPT. 22nd will be the celebration of the 164th Anniversary of Duff Church, Largie, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Michael Burns as guest speaker. Everyone is invited to enjoy a time of fellowship and lunch after the service.

CRINAN W.I. is extending an invitation to anyone interested in attending an evening on Thurs., Sept. 19 at the Crinan Community Centre at 7:30 p.m. to hear local author “Al McGregor” discuss his 4th and latest novel entitled An Angry Sky. Both men and women welcome. Refreshment time to follow. Please reply to Sharon Gilchrist at 768-2501 by Mon. Sept. 16 if planning to attend.

FREE BOOKS – The Largie Library is offering up its collection to anyone who would like to give a new home to some books. Any books left at the end of this month will be donated to the library, Bobier Villa and The Thrift Store. Please help yourselves to as many as you would like.
