THANK YOU to Mr. Doug Gillard for leading our worship today.
UPCOMING SERVICES: Mr. Doug Gillard will lead our services on Sept. 15, and 29. Please note that there will be no service at Crinan on Sept. 15. (Rodney Fair). On Oct. 6, we will celebrate World Communion Sunday with Rev. Robert Shaw, and Doug Gillard will be with us again for Oct. 13, 20 and 27.
SUNDAY, SEPT. 22nd will be the celebration of the 164th Anniversary of Duff Church, Largie, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Michael Burns as guest speaker. Everyone is invited to enjoy a time of fellowship and lunch after the service.
LARGIE WMS & LADIES AID will meet on Monday, Sept. 9th at 8:00 p.m. The roll call is “Mission Work Local and Abroad”, and there will be a guest speaker. The committee is Lynda Drummelsmith & Ella McWilliam. The lunch committee is Barb Ross & Rose Marie Paton.
CRINAN W.I. is extending an invitation to anyone interested in attending an evening on Thurs., Sept. 19 at the Crinan Community Centre at 7:30 p.m. to hear local author “Al McGregor” discuss his 4th and latest novel entitled An Angry Sky. Both men and women welcome. Refreshment time to follow. Please reply to Sharon Gilchrist at 768-2501 by Mon. Sept. 16 if planning to attend.
