Funeral & Memorial Services

Funeral Service Pamphlet

During times of grief and loss we often turn to our roots of faith for answers, for support and for comfort.

The congregations of the Bass River Pastoral Charge are deeply PICT1680committed to receiving and offering the hospitality of our sanctuary and facilities for families during their times of sorrow.

While we make it a point to ensure that the needs and concerns of members are met, we are glad to open our doors to those needing comfort and support, and offer a place to conduct Christian memorial services.

The use of facilities are supervised by each congregation’s board of managers and session.  Grounds and cemeteries are under the care of cemetery boards and committees.

Arrangements for worship events – funerals, committals  or memorials – are managed by our interim Moderator , the Rev. Charles Cook. Counseling and pastoral care can be offered through some members of our sessions (our elders).

Annual Memorial Services take place in three of our pastoral points.
