The members and leaders of Calvin church hope that your wedding will be a significant and beautiful occasion, filled with anticipation, joy, and excitement. It is also a holy occasion when the gathered community gives thanks for God’s gift of marriage, witnesses your promises in His presence, and pledges its support and prayers to you for your future.
Built in 1926 by the architectural firm of Wickson & Gregg, Calvin’s Sanctuary is a glorious space of carved and polished oak. Behind the oak chancel are three stained glass windows designed by Canadian artist Gustav Hahn (1866-1962). Calvin’s outer walls of Credit Valley cut stone and its slate portico behind soaring pillars provide a beautiful backdrop for photographs of your wedding party.
Setting the Time of Your Wedding
Try and set the date and time of your wedding as much in advance as possible to assure the availability of space and pastor. Please call the church office at (416) 923-9030 to confirm availability of the date you have chosen.
Rehearsal
Calvin’s wedding package includes a three-hour wedding rehearsal, usually the night before the wedding but the timing can be arranged when you book your wedding.
