Greetings Friends of CPC, Almonte
My name is the Rev. Milton A Fraser. I serve as minister at Lochwinnoch Presbyterian Church and St Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Cobden. Since the end of October 2023, I have been the Interim Moderator of CPC, Almonte.
I arrange for guests worship leaders to lead worship on Sundays, I support the Session as they offer leadership and pastoral care to the congregation, and I work alongside the Search Committee as they search for a new minister.
I enjoy my bi-weekly visits to Almonte, I enjoy sneaking out for fresh air along the Riverwalk. I have enjoyed delicious coffee from shoppes in town. I enjoy the vibe downtown. I usually stop and say hello to Dr James Naismith, the inventor of basketball, and a fellow Presbyterian.
I have come to appreciate the Search Committee, the Session and all the folks who make CPC tick, including Susan, the church musician and choir director, Petro who is in the Office, and Barbara and the Board of Managers.
I see potential for Community Presbyterian Church, and I ask you to join me in prayer, that God will help the congregation to meet the right person to be their next minister.
