Knox Library

Knox Church has an awesome Library open whenever the church is open, easy to use and free to borrowers. It’s located just off MacMillan Hall (the gym). You can’t miss the beautiful door signage compliments of Goderich Print Shop. While the Library contains lots of faith-based books and many Christian fiction titles, there are also regular fiction books and classics along with non-fiction books on everything from history to humour. The Library also includes a large collection of books for children and young adults and DVDs for young and old. The sign-out procedure is simple. Write your name, date and name of book or DVD in the appropriate binder and when you return the item, write the return date in the binder and deposit item in basket for re-shelving.

If you want to take your time in the Library, check out Clara’s Corner featuring a comfy chair where you can relax and read or just sit and meditate. The Library Committee created this corner in memory of Library Committee member Clara Hamilton.

There is also a Book Nook located across from the church office. The books here include a small selection of all genres from our Library and can be signed out using the same method described above. Titles are changed out every two months by Library Committee members.

If you’d like to join the Library Committee, please contact the Church Office. Our mandate is to promote and maintain the Library, keeping it tidy and current. We have short meetings every two months and take turns writing monthly book/movie reviews for our church bulletins and changing out the Nook, along with re-shelving and decorating the Library for Easter/spring, fall and Christmas.
