Vaccination Policy

(No Longer Enforced)

The Session of Ile-Perrot Presbyterian Church has discussed and reflected on our current reality with COVID-19 and its Omicron variant and has chosen to adopt a vaccination policy that comes into effect on Friday, December 24, 2021. The leadership will demand all public worship participants at PCIP to be fully vaccinated, except for people who have been exempted from taking the vaccination against COVID-19. So, those who meet certain conditions described in the Quebec Immunization Protocol will be exempted. Although, those people could obtain a vaccine passport too if they applied for it.

Beginning December 24, we will ask you to show your proof of vaccination and record your name as a confirmation for those who regularly attend. Also, we register your name for the sake of contact tracing should the need arise. We will not scan anyone’s code to send to the government. Please note that our regular attendees will only have to do this once.

Our guests will need to show proof of vaccination along with another piece of identification. In addition, we will require our visitors to repeat the same process whenever they attend.

Online options are available. You are invited to join us via live stream on our YouTube channel: Ile-Perrot Presbyterian Church. We record our worship and will also be available on our YouTube channel later in the day.

When we open our building to groups, we will request and keep reminding them that according to the Quebec COVID-19 protocol, all groups need to ask for proof of vaccination. Team leaders will need to make sure this is being done.
