Christian Education Exchange

Serving in Christian Education can be isolating, especially in our small churches in small towns spread out across these lands. We want to help bridge the gap between faithful people doing wonderful work. Come gather online monthly and connect with others who serve our faith communities, equipping them for discipleship.

You can be a minister, lay leader, paid staff, volunteer, part-time, full-time, or a passionate retiree. You can serve children, youth, young adults, adults, seniors, or all intergenerationally. Our aim is to make the journey an enjoyable one with companions to rely on.

The meetings are hosted by the Christian Education & Youth Program Team at 7:00pm (Eastern) and 6:30pm (Pacific) on the fourth Monday of each month.

The dates are:
April 28, May 26, June 23, July 28, August 25. September 29, October 27, December 8

Prayer Requests for our Congregants and Community:

  • Pray for Sue Green, her mother, Betty and the extended family upon the passing of Sue’s father, Sam Fraser, this past week. May comfort, and peace be theirs this week.
  • Pray for Gloria G. as she recovers her health while in a rehabilitation setting.
  • We pray for Bill and Rena S. as Bill remains in Lindsay receiving care and Rena travels to see him often. We pray for “Journeying Mercies” for Rena, and for the faithfulness of their daughters to drive Rena to see Bill.
  • Father, God, we thank you for our church’s music ministry that calms us, brings us closer to you, and expresses in words, the many thoughts and prayers we hold in our hearts, in these days of uncertainty
  • Father, God, we thank you for our church’s prayer  group who pray for the physical and spiritual needs of our congregation.

Thank you …

for remembering the financial needs of our church during these challenging days. Our offerings may be in the form of prayer, service or financial gifts. If you wish to send financial support or volunteer service at this time, please contact Jim at 905-623-4125.

If you have any questions or concerns, please forward them to the Co-Clerks of Session, Jim MacMaster and Doreen Gilroy, or Interim Moderator, Rev. Ann Blane, by email: [email protected] or text 705-731-9265.
