This Sunday, October 5th, 2014, Rev. Rowlands will share the service with Stephen Allen. The Word of God will be the old testament: Isaiah 80:7-15, responsive psalm: Psalm 80:4b-14, and the new testament: Matthew 21:33-46. The sermon will be on “Caring for the vineyard”.

Stephen Allen has been the Associate Secretary for Social Ministries with the Presbyterian Church in Canada since 1997. In his role with the PCC he works with congregations and courts of the church and represents the PCC on the Canadian Council of Church’s Commission on Justice and Peace and on the Board of Directors of KAIROS/Canadian Ecumenical Justice Initiatives. His extensive background in community development and social justice issues enable him to bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to us.
