The annual Joint Church Picnic takes place on Sunday, June 8, 2014, at the Rotary Sunshine Park on Thorburn Road @ 11 am. All are welcome. Please bring your own lawn chair, plates and cutlery. Any donations of food to the potluck are appreciated. Bruce and Paula Templeton are barbequing. Thanks go out to them. We will meet indoors if the weather is poor as there is a meeting room.

This year St. Andrew’s will be hosting the 7pm Evening Services. Dr. Dent will be leading the service on Wednesday and Dr. Sutherland will be leading the 6:30 Seder Service and Meal on Thursday, and the Good Friday Service at 7pm on Friday.

We welcome the Rev. Bill Bartlett, former Executive Secretary of the Newfoundland and Labrador Conference of the United Church of Canada who will be leading worship. Dr. Sutherland is currently in the Caribou Mountains of British Columbia visiting a “house church” ministry with the Rev. David and Linda Webber. On Sunday he will be in Grand Prairie Alberta preaching at Forbes Presbyterian Church and visiting with members of the Peace River Presbytery.
