PWS&D Sunday – Mark 12.28-34 75 years of Loving our Neighbour through PWS&D (By Guy Smagghe)
Rev. Soong will take some much needed vacation time from February 7 to Feb. 20. Robert Revington will lead the services on Feb 13 and 20 (Thank-you very much Robert). Rev. Soong will be back on Feb. 27 for our first in-person worship since before Christmas. Should you have a pastoral care emergency during that time, Robert Royal, from St. Andrew’s Newmarket will be happy to assist you. Rev. Session has decided that the church will remain closed to in-person worship until Feb. 20, 2022. Church will re-open to in-person worship on Sunday Feb. 27. When church re-opens, all previous protocols will be in place (enter from Victoria St. Doors, complete Covid screening, enter Sanctuary from the narthex only, masks must be worn at all times, offering will be placed on the offering plate at the back of the church.
On PWS&D Sunday, we celebrate the work our church is doing to serve vulnerable communities around the world. This year, PWS&D will be commemorating 75 years of responding to our neighbours near and far.
