We joyfully introduce our sponsor child Alisson, who is not yet in school. She lives with her mother and father. His mother is unemployed and his father is a trades person. The family’s income is unstable and far from adequate to provide for the basic needs. Alisson’s family is Catholic in faith and speak Spanish and Guarani.
Alisson lives near Asuncion, the capital of Paraguay. In this community, there are many obstacles like bullying and domestic violence, lack of access to schools, safe places to play and clean drinking water, among others.
In Paraguay’s rural areas, many people lack a sufficient income to cover necessities, making this one of the region’s poorest countries.
Many Paraguayan people live in poverty and rely on agriculture as a means to secure an income.
By joining forces, we’re going to help Alisson overcome barriers to education so she can live and dream fearlessly.
Our Sunday School sends special gifts for Christmas, Easter and Alisson’s birthday.
