Summer Worship Schedule

Summer Worship Schedule

Throughout the months of July and August, the people of Sand Hill and St. John’s worship together in one location. In July, we will worship at Sand Hill at 9:30 a.m. In August, we will worship at St. John’s at 11 a.m.

On our first Sunday together, at Sand Hill, it will be celebration Sunday. Please bring a treat to share and remain after worship for a time of fellowship.

Register now for summer camp

Register Now! Summer Youth Nights begin on Wednesday, July 8. Sessions are weekly from 6 to 7:30 p.m. During our get togethers, we will be considering life and real-life situations through the lens of faith and scripture. Some of the values that shape this time together, include:

  • Every young person is created in the image of God and is inherently worthy, seen, and loved.
  • God meets us in real life, especially in our questions, struggles, and relationships
  • Jesus Christ reveals to us a love that is embodied, relational, and marked by grace, reconciliation, and new life
  • The Holy Spirit is active in forming community, drawing people into belonging, and empowering faithful living

Saturday, May 23 – Yoga for women and girls at St. John’s

To celebrate the women in our lives and faith community, we are hosting an afternoon yoga session at St. John’s Presbyterian. The session will be led by Pamela, a talented yoga teacher! The session will be adaptable for all bodies and mobility levels. The theme for this gathering comes from Psalm 139: “I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.”

We will gather at 1:30 p.m. for a brief reflection on the Psalm by Rev. Julielee, followed by breathwork, stretching, and an accessible yoga practice. The session will close in prayer, and all are invited to stay afterward for tea and treats. Please wear something comfortable. A limited number of mats (approximately eight) will be available if you do not have one. Join us for a meaningful time of connection bringing together breath, faith, movement, and community. If you have questions or wish to contribute to the treats and tea portion, please speak with Pamela or Julielee at [email protected]
