“St. Andrew’s Kars: A Family Church, 1835-2008” was published in 2008 by the church, with initial funds from the memorial fund. 200 copies were printed and a price of $40 per copy was set, with the proceeds being returned to the memorial fund. Congregational members generously contributed memories and photos.
About 150 pages with 100 photos, the book gives a history of the life of this church over almost 175 years, as well as appendices on the ministers, families, church officers, early baptisms and marriages and historical statistical information. It also includes a CD with over 400 additional photos and family histories of 24 early families, some of whom still have members in the church today.
