MISSIONS

Our Mission and Outreach program is an active part of St. Luke’s life and we are privileged to help others financially both locally and across the world.  Several missions our Session has approved for ongoing support are: Presbyterians Sharing,  Presbyterian World Service and Development, Simcoe Hall Settlement House (local food bank), Hearth Place (local cancer support centre) and Gate 3:16 (drop-in centre for homeless & hurting). Learn more about these missions by clicking on the links below.

Our Hat & Mitten Tree – 2022

In our own community at Christmas, we maintain a tradition that began several years ago with the “planting and harvesting” of our Hat and Mitten Tree.  Proceeds go to Simcoe Hall Settlement House.  As usual, our congregation ensured that a bumper crop was harvested.  Our harvest is pictured below.

This year’s “harvest” yielded 45 hats, 51 mittens and 13 scarves!
