PWS & D Church School Challenge

The children and youth of First Presbyterian Church, Brockville, once again showed that small hands can make a big difference. Throughout June 2026, they created and sold a variety of handmade items, inviting members of the congregation to make donations in support of Presbyterian World Service & Development (PWS&D).

Thanks to the generosity of the congregation and the enthusiasm of the children, nearly $400 was raised. The funds will be used to purchase items selected by the children from the PWS&D Gifts of Change catalogue, helping to provide practical support for vulnerable people and communities around the world.

Congratulations to our wonderful Church School children for their creativity, generosity, and commitment to helping others. Thank you as well to our dedicated Church School leaders for encouraging the children to put their faith into action, and to everyone in the congregation who supported the Challenge.

We give thanks for our Church School children, who shared their beautiful presentation of The Lenten Alphabet during Easter Sunday worship.

Through their creativity and spirit, they helped bring the journey of Lent to life and lead us into the joy of Easter.
