Hospitality

We are a family of faith! As a family, we share good conversation each week following worship and try to support one another by spending time together.

  • Hospitality is offered each Sunday after worship as we enjoy a time of fellowship in our church hall with tea, coffee, juice and other refreshments.
  • Special Events occur during the year to give us the opportunity to spend relaxed, social time with one another and to share our hospitality with various members of the community. Examples include the “Pancake Lunch” with staff, students and children from the Artemis Place Society next door, a “Potato Supper”, a church picnic at one of the wonderful beach/park areas around Victoria, “Spring rolls and Shortbread” to celebrate the Chinese New Year and Robbie Burns Day, and any other fun excuse we think of to make a party!
  • Congregational Lunches are arranged regularly at local restaurants.
  • Knox Nights are monthly opportunities for community building during the summer.  Activities can include a board games night, card games night, painting pottery at a local studio.  If you have any ideas, please let Laura know.
  • Knox Cafe is a musical evening presented periodically to raise funds for PWS&D.  Steve and a few friends get together to entertain in a coffee house atmosphere while people can enjoy coffee, tea and dessert.
