There are many ways to explore your faith at Knox. Through our programs for all ages, we seek understanding and encouragement for dynamic Christian living.
In addition to specific learning opportunities, we have a well-equipped library on site. This resource contains books, videos and CD’s addressing spiritual, meditative and educational needs of children and adults. Everyone is welcome to sign out material.
- Young Children in Worship is the program we have been using since 2013. This is an excellent way of introducing young children to the wonder of worship. Click here to find out more.
- Youth and young adults attend worship and make meaningful contributions through drama, readings and music.
- Adult Study Groups meet periodically and are facilitated by the minister. There are also several ecumenical opportunities for study and sharing community available during the year. Newcomers are always welcome to participate. See the calendar for current opportunities.
- Advent and Lenten devotional resources for adults, youth and families are available at no charge during the seasons of Lent and Advent. Drop-in during office hours or worship times to browse and make your selections. You are encouraged to use these materials on your own or come together in small groups to discuss, share and support one another in your spiritual journey.
- Spiritual Reading (Lectio Divina) is a method of praying the scriptures that has been around for a long time. It aims at giving an awareness of God’s presence through a fourfold process, lectio, meditatio, oratio, and contemplatio. Lectio is receiving the word of God, meditatio, allowing the Word to be present in the awareness – giving rise to oratio, prayer, and contemplatio, resting in the presence of God. If you are interested in pursuing this spiritual discipline please contact our minister.
