Our church 2026

At Church, POHIPC families sit around tables for worship and there is a light meal after church.
Children age 5-15 go out to Sunday School classes during sermon time. Age 2-4 go to a supervised nursery. Typical attendance is 60 with half of that number being children. 2-4 generations of the same family worshipping together.
All nations of people are welcome to come and join us. 251 Bannerman Ave in Winnipeg Mb at 3 pm on Sunday.
Thank you to Presbyterians Sharing funding from the Presbyterian Church in Canada for the grant to cover the costs of the ministry team.

Christmas 2025 cloud of witnesses

Christmas came early to Place of Hope Church.

There were take home Christmas meal pacs complete with turkey or ham for those who have been attending Place of Hope Indigenous Church on a regular basis during this year. Plus a personal hygiene bag for each household. And blankets or throws that came in for the congregation.

All of this is possible due to donations from several Presbyterian congregations and many individuals from across Canada and here in Winnipeg.
Thank you Karen, Lorna, Bradley, Corina, Gary, Nancy, Deborah, Chandler, members of the congregation, for your help plus Linda Kirton and Brenda Boulet friends of POHIPC.
THERE WERE VOLUNTEERS FROM St John’s Presbyterian Church, First Presbyterian Church, Westwood Presbyterian Church, and Prairie Presbyterian church helping for two weeks to assemble gift bags for each member family and the hampers. There are many out there who care who pray and who support this ministry.
