Christmas 2025 cloud of witnesses

Christmas came early to Place of Hope Church.

There were take home Christmas meal pacs complete with turkey or ham for those who have been attending Place of Hope Indigenous Church on a regular basis during this year. Plus a personal hygiene bag for each household. And blankets or throws that came in for the congregation.

All of this is possible due to donations from several Presbyterian congregations and many individuals from across Canada and here in Winnipeg.
Thank you Karen, Lorna, Bradley, Corina, Gary, Nancy, Deborah, Chandler, members of the congregation, for your help plus Linda Kirton and Brenda Boulet friends of POHIPC.
THERE WERE VOLUNTEERS FROM St John’s Presbyterian Church, First Presbyterian Church, Westwood Presbyterian Church, and Prairie Presbyterian church helping for two weeks to assemble gift bags for each member family and the hampers. There are many out there who care who pray and who support this ministry.
Thank you all so very much for your love , for your prayer support and for your financial generosity. God Bless you all.

Donations can still be received via etransfer to [email protected]  .

We accept donations all year long! :)

All donations are greatly appreciated all year round.

It is the Holiday season during which feelings of hopelessness, despair and increased need often are present. The pressure to provide a jolly occasion with cheer and celebration when another long, difficult year lags behind us and the future uncertainties loom in the New Year ahead is often inescapable.

If you want to pledge and donate to the POHIPC, please consider a smaller monthly donation of even $10/month as opposed to a one-time holiday donation. Every dollar helps all year long!
