About

Our congregation began in June of 1893 when some of Olds’ pioneer families were in search of a faith community. The congregation initially met several locations around the Olds area. In the early 1900’s the first Church building was erected and was destroyed by fire in August of 1956. Not to be deterred, the congregation took on some loans and on November 3, 1957 the first service in the current building was held. The faithfulness of the congregation and its many fine ministers and most importantly, the guidance of our Lord and Saviour has kept our congregation vibrant for over 120 years.

St. Andrew’s is a congregation in the Presbyterian Church in Canada. To learn more about our beliefs and history go to www.presbyterian.ca.
