Last Saturday, April 26, St. James was pleased to welcome the Rev. Dr. Patricia Dutcher-Walls, Moderator of the 2024 General Assembly of The Presbyterian Church in Canada, for a workshop that gathered people from across the Presbytery of New Brunswick.
Through stories from the Gospel of John—of the risen Jesus appearing to the disciples in the upper room and on the beach—participants explored how Christ continues to meet us with grace, call us with purpose, and feed us with hope.
The day invited us to reflect on where we encounter the risen Lord today and how, even in uncertain times, Jesus still breathes peace into our lives and calls us to tend to one another.
We are grateful for Dr. Dutcher-Walls’ insightful leadership, which helped stir our imaginations and remind us that renewal and transformation are not only possible—but already underway.
