October 2025 Activity Calendar

There’s lots happening this month! Join us for Sunday worship at 11 a.m. with J.A.M. (“Jesus and Me”) and Junior J.A.M. time for children during worship.

Through the week, enjoy fellowship and fun at Joyful Sounds, Coffee House, Stitches & Crafts, First Fridays Games Night, and more. Scouts, Beavers, and Cubs are also in full swing!

Be sure to check out the calendar for special dates like World Communion Sunday, Harvest Sunday, and Thanksgiving celebrations. This month also includes vaccination clinics in partnership with The Medicine Shoppe Hanwell (dates TBA).

Join us as Sunday, September 28 at 11 a.m. as we gather for Welcoming Sunday—a time to reconnect after summer and celebrate the start of a new season together. During worship we will share a special Blessing of the Backpacks. Anyone heading back to school—students of all ages, teachers, professors, staff members, bus drivers, or anyone with a role in education—is invited to bring along a backpack, computer bag, or other school-related item. Together we will ask God’s blessing on the year ahead, praying for learning, growth, friendship, and safety in every classroom and community.

This is also a wonderful opportunity to invite a friend, neighbour, or family member to experience the warmth of our church family. All are welcome!
