Welcome to Camp MacLeod
Our History
Camp MacLeod has been serving children, youth, and families in Cape Breton since 1952. Located on the beautiful Mira River in Albert Bridge, Nova Scotia, the camp was established by the Presbytery of Cape Breton to provide young people with opportunities for faith development, friendship, outdoor adventure, and personal growth.
For more than 70 years, generations of campers have gathered at Camp MacLeod to swim, canoe, play sports, sing around campfires, and create lifelong memories. What began as a small summer camp has grown into a cherished tradition for many families across Cape Breton and beyond.
Today, Camp MacLeod continues its mission of providing a safe, welcoming, and faith-based camping experience while maintaining the values and traditions that have made it a special place for generations.
