Devotion for Life for April 24th, 2026

Let us pray

God who gives us the deep, deep love of Jesus, we come to You once again to pray. We come to You not out of obligation but out of love for You. You have met us where we are whether in peace by a gentle stream or in the messiness of sin, You have come to us. You invite us to follow You into the deeper meaning of life and purpose. Your invitation to wholeness of being and connectedness draws us out of our monotony and into the vibrant life of grace.

Thank you Jesus for calling us to Yourself and not ignoring us. Not ignoring the cries for help called out in clear desperation, some cries heard and and seen and felt, some cries whispered behind closed doors made under the guise of success, You hear everyone one of them.

Thank you for not leaving us alone but bringing us into community and grace, into hope and solidarity. Thank you for each blessing of friendship and place of belonging that You give us to help us journey together in life. We pray this all in the wonderful n as me of Jesus, Amen.
