We welcome The Rev. Dan West to our Knox family!
Knox Kincardine was pleased to extend the Call to Reverend Dan during the height of the initial Covid experience in early 2021. It was a very challenging time for all, as he was preaching to an almost empty church, with our services being broadcast over YouTube for the better part of that year while we determined just how we were going to adapt to this new Worship experience.
Dan’s previous experience as a Pastoral Care Chaplain at Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto, as well as being a Trauma Resiliency Trainer for the Canadian Armed Forces were valuable tools in adapting to this new form of Ministry while not being able to meet his congregation in person.
Dan’s philosophy that we are meant to be a Mission-based Church fits nicely with Knox Kincardine’s focus in that we need to be active, visible, and relevant in meeting the needs within our local community, as well as supporting the greater world-wide role of our national Church.
