Elder Ordination was held on January 8. 2023. Gail Cameron, Lloyd Cameron, and Kim Flynn were ordained.

The New Year was rung in by serving Church Mimosas as members arrived to New Year’s Day Worship 2023.

A Christmas Pageant was held on December 18, 2022 with the young people telling the Christmas Story.

A Light Service was held on Sunday, October 30, with a Taco Supper.

A Sundae Sunday was held on Sunday, July 24, 2022.  The evening started with worship, action songs, and ended with Sundaes and lots of toppings.

During 2019, the congregation celebrates the 125th Anniversary of the Church Building.

Sunday, September the Congregation hosted a 125th Anniversary Hymn Sing. The congregation welcomed Rick Leben to share in special music.

On Sunday, June 23, a BBQ and Evening Worship Service was held to kick off the Anniversary Celebrations.

 

 

On Sunday, June 30, two maple trees were dedicated, one given by the Lochwinnoch Women’s Institute and the other by the congregation, as part of the 125th Anniversary of the Building.  Members of the Women’s Institute join Clerk of Session and Rev. Milton Fraser for the dedication.  Following the service anniversary cake was served.  Gwen Storie shared an account of how the work of the WI and the congregation have served together.

On Sunday November 4  Rev. Dr. George Vais was the guest speaker.  He marked the 70th Anniversary of his father’s arrival to Lochwinnoch as minister. Rev Christos Vais served Lochwinnoch Church, from 1948-1950.
