Bethe Carnie – Congregational Secretary
The friendly lady who greets you in Mt. Zion’s office is Bethe Carnie. She began her time at Mount Zion as Congregational Secretary in 2000. Leaving in 2004, she returned in 2007 to the delight of the congregation. Since that time, she has also acquired the position of church treasurer, in addition to her duties of coordinating the activities of the entire congregation.

Mount Zion enjoys the talents of two musicians to enhance our worship — Gabby Marten on piano and Gaele Mifflin on the organ. They alternate from week to week

Rev. Andy Cornell, Interim Moderator
In October 2018, Mt. Zion welcomed Rev. Cornell as Interim Moderator. His guidance to the Session in their role of leading our congregation is greatly appreciated.
Rev. Cornell is pastor of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in Dresden, Ontario, as well as executive director of Renewal Fellowship, Presbyterian Church in Canada. Previous to ordination (2012), his career included reporting and editing for the media. Having worked in both radio and newspapers, he was assistant managing editor of The Chatham Daily News until he entered Knox College to prepare for service in ministry.
