Mt. Zion is privileged to have an enthusiastic Bible study group who meet each week to learn more about God’s Word and how we can better apply it to our lives. Many of the group attend Mt. Zion, but some are from outside the church. Some attend weekly; others come as they are able. The studies are thought-provoking, and we enjoy many lively discussions.
Over the past few years, we’ve alternated between studying a book of the Bible and using a video series.
We are now studying the video series Guardrails. The title of Session 1 is Direct and Protect. We all know the consequences of poor decisions or lapses in judgement. People don’t plan to mess up, but it easily happens if we don’t establish guardrails. In this video series, Andy Stanley helps us avoid regret in our lives by challenging each of us to set boundaries based on the wisdom found in God’s word.
