Membership Sunday & Service Info for July 17, 2022

Dear Friends,

With the grace of the Almighty God, at Knox Presbyterian Chruch Glenarm and St. Andrew’s Fenelon Falls, we are incredibly blessed to welcome Paolo and Joanne Martire with their daughters, Avalene and Olenna, to our church family. One primary attribute of joining a church is mentioned in the following scripture: “If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honoured, every part rejoices with it” (1 Corinthians 12: 26). One of the things I am proud of in our congregation is that we, as a church, take care of one another. When we hear good news from our members, we share it and rejoice together. When we find that our friends seem weak in one way or another, we encourage them and pray for them. Our divine assembly is far from perfect, but God has placed in our church full of loving people willing to serve the Mighty and Merciful Lord and share our challenges and joyful moments. Once again, we are so delighted to journey with the Martire family!

With this happy note, I invite you to join this membership celebration at the July 17th hybrid worship service at 10:00 a.m. at St. Andrew’s Fenelon Falls. This Sunday, we will finally look at the last congregation, “Laodicea – The Lukewarm Church” (Revelation 3:14-21), in the “Seven Churches in Revelation” series. We will learn the meaning of belonging to the church called the Body of Christ through the children’s video. We will also make a covenant before the Lord to support one another and welcome new members in our Holy Fellowship while worshiping God with all our hearts.

As usual, this sacred gathering will also be broadcasted via Zoom. The Zoom link below will open at 9:45 a.m. Before the service, the announcement slides will be presented to the congregation at the sanctuary and on Zoom. A copy of the service info, including the message, is attached.

Blessings,

Caleb
