Dear Friends,
I want to begin this Sunday’s service info with several items. Firstly, I want to echo Dan’s appreciation last Sunday to both Sherry and Michael for their talks and his encouragement about sharing God’s stories in our upcoming services. Since we launch a new sermon series on God’s dream/vision this Sunday, it would be beneficial for us to hear some people’s God-given dream stories on the coming Sundays in April. Please let me know if any of you and/or those you know would be willing to do it. As I stated before, any stories would be an excellent witness to the Lord if they contain God as the leading actor and His power as the primary source. God will be pleased to hear those stories! Secondly, some adjustments in the PowerPoint slides have been made. You will notice this change and may feel more comfortable viewing some words in the slides on Zoom. Donna, thank you for taking more time and effort to enhance PowerPoint slides for upcoming hybrid services! Thirdly, most of us are aware of the 2022 daylight saving time starting this weekend. Please change or set your clocks ahead one hour before going to bed Saturday night.
Once again, I want to introduce this year’s second sermon series titled “God’s Dream for Your Life.” In the next six Sundays, we will explore “God’s six phases of faith: Dream, Decision, Delay, Difficulty, Dead End, and Deliverance” and learn about how to strengthen our faith. In the first session of this study, we will look at a brief introduction of its series and some ways of changing from doubt to trust in our faith journey. We will also view some impossible to possible stories through the video corners.
As usual, the service will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 13, 2022, and the Zoom link will open at 9:45 a.m. The announcement slides will be played before the service. A copy of the service info, including the sermon titled “From Doubt to Faith – God’s Dream for Your Life I,” is attached.
