Service Info for Jan. 15, 2023

Dear Friends,

I want to begin with the First Annual Meeting of the Newly Amalgamated St. Andrew’s Church. Through this congregational gathering, we will look back on what God did in 2022 and look forward to what God can and will do through us in the coming year. This assembly will take place right after the hybrid service on Sunday, February 12, 2023. Please mark this date in your calendar and honour this important meeting with your prayers and presence in person or online!

With this note, I invite you to a hybrid service at St. Andrew’s on Sunday, January 15, 2022, at 10:00 am. Tomorrow we will look at the second part of the new series “Rebuilding Our Broken Lives and Others” based on the book of Nehemiah. We will learn critical steps for rebuilding the destroyed areas of our spiritual temples through this message. This sacred gathering will also be broadcasted live. The Zoom link below will open at 9:45 am. Before the service, the announcement slides will be presented to the congregation at the sanctuary and on Zoom.

“I also told them about the gracious hand of my God on me and what the king had said to me. They replied, ‘Let us start rebuilding.’ So they began this good work.” (Nehemiah 2:18).

Blessings,

Caleb

Service Info for Jan. 8, 2023

Dear Friends,

This Sunday, we will launch the first sermon series of 2023 titled “Rebuilding Our Broken Lives and Others,” based on the book of Nehemiah. Through this study, we will learn divine principles of restoring the damaged walls and gates of our spiritual hearts. This recovering subject is not only designed for individuals but also groups. We, as Christ’s followers and Christ’s church, can have spiritual renewal when our sacred temples are transformed into the ones after God’s own heart. In the upcoming weeks, we will explore some godly steps of the rebuilding projects we may have for ourselves, our loved ones, our church, and our community. One fantastic thing from Nehemiah’s renewing mission is that all the refurbishing tasks he planned and practiced were done in 52 days when the people of Israel worked together for the sake of the Lord their God. I fully believe that, as little Nehemiah, we all can rebuild the broken of our lives and the damage to our loved ones in the coming days with the exact help of the Creator God!

With this introduction, I send you God’s holy invitation to a hybrid service at St. Andrew’s on Sunday, January 8, 2022, at 10:00 am. This sacred gathering will also be broadcasted lively. The Zoom link below will open at 9:45 am. Before the service, the announcement slides will be presented to the congregation at the sanctuary and on Zoom. Sunday messages and special events can be watched online later, and our church website info is below.

“They said to me, ‘…The wall of Jerusalem is broken down, and its gates have been burned with fire.’ When I heard these things, I sat down and wept. For some days I mourned and fasted and prayed before the God of heaven” (Nehemiah 1:3-4).

Blessings,

Caleb

Service Info for Jan. 1, 2023

Dear Friends,

Happy New Year! I want to begin with the introduction of a new sermon series called “Rebuilding Broken Walls and Lives” through the book of Nehemiah. I am excited to launch this study starting next Sunday, January 8, until February 26 (tentative). Through these coming reflections on the Holy Scripture, I pray that God can provide His supernatural help to restore our true identity from the damage of the past. We can find this spiritual brokenness in various places. With the help of the Holy Spirit, we can explore God’s divine principles for renewing our lives and others in Christ. Please pray about these vital lessons in the upcoming Sundays.

With this note, I invite you to attend the Epiphany service at St. Andrew’s on Sunday, December 4, 2022, at 10:00 am. “Epiphany is a Christian holiday primarily commemorating the Magi’s visit to the baby Jesus and the baptism of Jesus by John the Baptist.” This sacred assembly will also be broadcasted online. The Zoom link below will open at 9:45 am. Before the service, the announcement slides will be presented to the congregation at the sanctuary and on Zoom.

“Coming up to them at that very moment, she gave thanks to God and spoke about the child to all who were looking forward to the redemption of Jerusalem” (Luke 2:38).

Blessings,

Caleb
