Wisdom

Along with patient endurance and faithfulness, Revelation chapter 13 also calls for wisdom. Wisdom is important when reading through Revelation but also living each day of our lives. The wisdom that God gives us through His Holy Spirit guides us in the ways of hope and righteousness. It guides us in how we understand God’s word and how we apply it to our lives and the world around us.

God’s wisdom is to help us live in unity but to also discern how to live through the difficult realities that we are facing. Wisdom helps us to see a way forward when the way seems impossible. Wisdom helps us to discern the events of our times accurately instead of rushing to inaccurate conclusions that breed fear instead of peace and hope.
