Let us Pray

God of the journey of life, we pray that You would be with each person who is traveling. Guide them safely to their destinations and bless them with new opportunities experiences that encourage them on their journey. Prepare them to be able to see the beauty of Your creation and the wonder of the different communities that You have brought together.

As we journey through this life You have given us, help us to live in Your ways of life instead of falling into temptations that breed fear and hate, greed and pride, jealousy and envy. Help us to work together to bring healing and community instead hurting each other trying to prove who is better. Help us to go beyond shallow relationships and be deeply connected and trusting. Help us to trust Your faithfulness and to be able to see Your faithfulness being lived out in other people and ourselves. May we truly live in and through You instead of just living for ourselves and our own selfish ambitions.

We pray this all in the name of the one who journeyed from heaven to earth to bring us love and to redeem us, in Jesus’s name, Amen.
