Let us pray

God of every season of life, we thank you for the promise of new life about to bloom all around us. As the dormant time of winter soon gives way to the planting and growing of flowers and food, help us to remember Your tending in our lives and the world around us. Help us to see beyond our own influence and to be able to see how necessary You are to our everyday life. Your love and grace that lifts us out of our self focus and helps us to see the interconnectedness of the natural world that we see and the spiritual and divine world that we too often miss. Help us to live in Your rhythm of life that helps life to flourish instead of our haphazard way of living that wears us down and destroys us. We seek Your life giving presences not just the necessities of life to keep us functioning. We seek Your fullness and wholeness of life not just a shadow of what life can be. Help us to be united with You and the whole world that You have created.
