Church News and Service Information for March 17, 2024

Dear Friends,

I want to begin this Sunday’s service information with our thanks to our Lay Preacher, Dan Schley, for his multitasking duties last Sunday. Some of those attending the in-person service might have noticed that Dan not only shared the Word of God with us but also hosted the whole service via Zoom, along with Donna. Once again, Dan and Donna, thank you for your tireless work for our church!

With this note, I warmly invite you and your loved ones to our hybrid worship service at St. Andrew’s Fenelon Falls on the fifth Sunday in Lent, starting at 10:00 a.m. This Sunday, we will continue exploring the sermon series “Unshakable” and will also have a children’s time during the service.

This sacred gathering will be accessible for both in-person and online live-streaming. The Zoom link below will be active from 9:45 a.m. Announcement slides will be shared before the service with both the congregation in the sanctuary and those joining us on Zoom.

“He [Daniel] urged them to plead for mercy from the God of heaven concerning this mystery, so that he and his friends might not be executed with the rest of the wise men of Babylon. During the night the mystery was revealed to Daniel in a vision. Then Daniel praised the God of heaven” (Daniel 2:18-19).

Blessings,

Caleb
