Service Information for May 26, 2024

Dear Friends,

I would like to begin by expressing my gratitude to all of God’s servants who shared inspirational sermons based on the Holy Word during my holiday. Thanks to the hybrid option, I was fortunate enough to participate in all the divine gatherings via Zoom and experience the same amazing grace of God as you did in the worship services. As an online worshipper, on behalf of the church, I want to take this opportunity to convey our appreciation to Dan and Donna Schley for managing the Zoom services for the past five Sundays and this Sunday, in addition to fulfilling other responsibilities for the church. I also want to echo our thanks to Jane Veale for continuously providing recorded hymns for our hybrid services. Furthermore, my wife and I extend our thankfulness to all of you for your prayers and good wishes for our travels to our homeland, Korea. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with our loved ones, particularly, my mother! We were not only well-fed physically but also spiritually nourished during our stay there.

With these expressions of gratitude, I warmly invite you and your loved ones to our hybrid worship service at St. Andrew’s Fenelon Falls and via Zoom. As previously mentioned, this Sunday, we will unite with churches across Canada to advocate for and commemorate Healing and Reconciliation, which Dan Schley and I will lead during the service.

Our sacred assembly will commence at 10:00 a.m., both in-person and online live-streaming, and conclude around 11:00 a.m. The Zoom link provided below will be active 15 minutes prior to the service. Announcement slides will be shared before the service with both the congregation in the sanctuary and those joining us on Zoom.

Please find attached the order of service and the sermon, along with the Study Guide for the Confession, for May 26th. Please note that the message I will deliver was prepared by
Rev. Mark Tremblay, Former Minister at Knox Presbyterian Church in Calgary, Alberta.

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age” (Matthew 28:19-20).
