Church News and Service Information for June 8th, 2025

Dear Friends,

We continue our new sermon series titled “Developing a Faith That Works,” based on the Book of James. Throughout this study, we will reflect on our attitudes and actions, growing in spiritual maturity and becoming more like Jesus Christ.

With this note, I warmly invite you join us for our hybrid service at St. Andrew’s Fenelon Falls on Sunday, June 8, 2025, at 10:00 A.M. During the service, we will share the message titled “How to Make up Your Mind” (based on 1 Kings 3:1-15 & James 1:5-11). We will also present a children’s video introducing Proverbs, one of the Books of the Bible.

Pastoral Visits & Home Communion
Caleb, along with his wife Soon Hwa and available elders, is planning to make pastoral visits during the summer months. Home communion will also be available upon request. If you or someone you know would benefit from a visit or this time of fellowship, please let Caleb or an elder know.

Book Donation from the Late Edna Evans’ Family
Sherry, the daughter of the late Edna Evans–our kind neighbor and friend from the United Church–has donated her mother’s books to our congregation. These books have been available on the table at the back of the sanctuary since last Sunday and will remain there through this Sunday. Please feel free to take any of them, free of charge, if you are interested. We thank Sherry for her generosity in sharing her mother’s collection with us.

Donations to the Salvation Army Food Bank will be collected on Sunday, July 6. Everyone’s ongoing support for our community is greatly appreciated.

We hope you will be able to join us for this meaningful time of worship.

Blessings,

Caleb
