Church News and Service Information for July 6th, 2025

Dear Friends,

I warmly invite you to join us for our hybrid service at St. Andrew’s, Fenelon Falls, on Sunday, July 6, 2025, at 10:00 A.M. This Sunday, we continue our series “Developing a Faith That Works” with part five: “How to Manage Your Mouth” based on James 3:1-12.

Church News and Announcements for This Sunday:

Salvation Army Food Bank Donations: Donations will be collected this Sunday. Everyone’s ongoing support for our community is greatly appreciated.

Decoration Service: The Decoration Service will be held this Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at Glenarm Cemetery.

The St. Andrew’s Women of the Church will meet on Wednesday, July 9, at the Maryboro Lodge Museum in Fenelon Falls. Those who wish to join are kindly asked to arrive at the church parking lot by 1:15 p.m. or a little earlier, so that carpooling can be arranged. Parking at the museum may be limited. Admission to the museum’s “Afternoon Tea” is by donation. Contributions will be collected before we depart for the museum. Everyone is welcome to join in this special time of fellowship.

In addition, St. Andrew’s Women of the Church has appointed Margaret Bewer to coordinate the collection of recipes for our church and to serve as the contact person with Laura Love at the City of Kawartha Lakes. This initiative is part of a community heritage project titled “Recipe Revival,” celebrating our cultural roots through food. If you would like to share a heritage recipe, please give it to Margaret or send it to her via email.

Blast Camp (formerly Vacation Bible School & an Association of Churches event) will take place from Monday, July 7, to Friday, July 11, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Trentside Baptist Church. This free day camp is for children entering SK to Grade 6. Please contact Lizz or Caleb for more information.

Guest Speaker: Lizz Hoyle will be leading us in worship on Sunday, July 20, while Caleb provides a service for the Ballyduff congregation on that day.

Shopping Card Orders: Orders will be collected on the following Sundays, July 20, and August 24. Please place your order with Donna Schley. Thank you to everyone who supports by using the cards.

The St. Andrew’s Women of the Church will be providing lunch in the church basement following Sunday worship on July 27. Please mark your calendars and join us for this special time of food and fellowship.

We hope you will be able to join us for this meaningful time of worship.

Blessings,

Caleb
