Church Events and Service Information for June 23, 2024

Dear Friends,

This Sunday, we will resume studying the unshakable faith demonstrated through various tests in the Book of Daniel. The main characters in these accounts were tested for their sacred identity in challenging situations. However, this Sunday, we will examine a somewhat opposite scenario in terms of divine trials. King Nebuchadnezzar faced God’s tests after receiving abundant blessings from Him. We will learn how to maintain God’s blessings through his example and apply these lessons to our faith journeys.

With this introduction, I warmly invite you and your loved ones to our hybrid worship service at St. Andrew’s Fenelon Falls and via Zoom. Our sacred assembly will commence at 10:00 a.m., both in-person and online live-streaming, and conclude around 11:00 a.m. The Zoom link provided below will be active 15 minutes prior to the service. Announcement slides will be shared before the service with both the congregation in the sanctuary and those joining us on Zoom.

Once again, I have briefly included church announcements and upcoming events below:

During next Sunday’s worship service on June 30th, we will dedicate the new roof and acknowledge the generous inheritance from the Estate of Robin Warren.

Shopping card orders will be collected this Sunday.

The yard sale will be held on Saturday, June 29, from 8:00 am until noon. Please talk to Stan Wray if you have any questions.

Wednesday morning prayer meetings will take place from July 10 to August 14, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the sanctuary or via Zoom.

Please inform an elder or me if you would like to receive pastoral visits, including home communion, or if you know someone who would benefit from it.

“Therefore, Your Majesty, be pleased to accept my advice: Renounce your sins by doing what is right, and your wickedness by being kind to the oppressed. It may be that then your prosperity will continue” (Daniel 4:27).

Blessings,

Caleb
