Church News and Service Information for May 18th, 2025

Dear Friends,

I wanted to echo what Dan shared from the pulpit last Sunday regarding the spring cleaning. On behalf of the church, we once again extend our deep thanks to all who generously gave their time and energy to clean both the inside and outside of the church last Saturday.

Some volunteers beautified the church garden beside the ramps, dusted the sanctuary, swept under the pews, and vacuumed the carpets. The basement storm windows and hidden areas around the building were also thoroughly cleaned. Others cleared fallen branches, trimmed overgrowth around the parking lot, and even removed limbs hanging dangerously over the electric wires. Two fully loaded trucks were needed to haul away the branches and debris from the church grounds. As a result, the parking lot now looks significantly more spacious.

One participant summed it up perfectly: “Many hands made the work light.” In my observation, it was one of the most productive and joyful workdays we’ve had–unified effort led by Stan Wray, our dedicated caretaker of both the church and the manse. We are truly grateful for his leadership.

With this note, I warmly invite you and your loved ones to join us for our hybrid service at St. Andrew’s Fenelon Falls on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at 10:00 A.M. We will continue our Invisible War sermon series and focus on the message: “Never Fight Your Battles Undressed” (based on Ephesians 6:10-18). We will also explore God’s spiritual armour through a children’s video.
