Dear Friends in Christ,
What a wonderful celebration and ordination service God blessed us with during our 4th Church Anniversary last Sunday! On behalf of the Session at St. Andrew’s, we express our sincere gratitude to the Lord for His abundant blessings upon our congregation as we move forward together in unity, love, and hope. We also extend our deep appreciation to everyone who prayed for that special service and joined us in worship, whether in person or online. The mini-salad lunch prepared by our church ladies and the warm fellowship were a true joy! Let us continue striving to become a more loving and caring congregation grounded in God’s truth.
Looking ahead to this coming Sunday, we are joyfully celebrating the sacrament of infant baptism for Hayveland Clayton, Daughter of Mark Clayton and Tessla Hicks.
In the Reformed tradition, we recognize two sacraments: Baptism and Holy Communion. As Living Faith (our Presbyterian Statement of Belief) reminds us: “Baptism is a sacrament meant for those who profess their faith and for their children… [and] is also an act of discipleship that requires commitment and looks toward growth in Christ (Living Faith 7.6.3-4).
Parents who bring their child for baptism make a solemn commitment to provide a Christian home and upbringing. Likewise, our church family at St. Andrew’s commits to walking alongside them–offering regular prayer, encouragement, and support as they fulfill their vows to God.
With these reflections in mind, I warmly invite you to join us for our Baptism Service this Sunday, September 20, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., both in person at St. Andrew’s Fenelon Falls and online. Your presence and prayers mean so much as we continue growing together as a more loving faith community.
We look forward to worshiping with you!
Blessings,
Caleb
