Church News and Service Information for October 25th, 2026

Dear Friends in Christ,

I want to follow up on a couple of announcements Dan shared last Sunday.

First, as a church family, we were delighted to celebrate the significant milestone God enabled John Nicholson to accomplish over many dedicated years. As many of us know, John recently celebrated  an extraordinary 50-year career at Lindsay Buick GMC in Lindsay, alongside a remarkable 60-year membership in the technician guild. We are so proud of you, John! A wonderful video of the ceremony held in his honor can be viewed on the following link:

Second, following the disappearance of our previous laptop, our Zoom service technology has been restored and upgraded. This was made possible by the generous donation of a new laptop by an anonymous donor. We are deeply grateful for their heart toward God and His church!

Thirdly, the tiles on the ceiling in the sanctuary have now been secured. While this repair might seem simple at first glance, it required removing a couple of pews and erecting scaffolding to reach the high ceiling. We extend our thanks to Jordan MacCaughley, as well as everyone who worked on these repairs.

In addition to last Sunday’s announcements, I would like to share news of a Presbytery appointment. At the October Presbytery meeting, Dan Schley was appointed as the Safe Church Training Coordinator for our Presbytery. Please keep Dan in your prayers as he steps into this role, that God would grant him wisdom and guidance in serving our wider church community.

With these updates in mind, I warmly invite you and your loved ones to join us for our hybrid service this Sunday, October 25, 2026,  at 10:00 a.m., both in person at St. Andrew’s Fenelon Falls and online. Dan Schley will be sharing the Word of God with us, while I will be leading the Ballyduff congregation in worship as Interim Moderator. We are grateful for Dan’s spiritual leadership in our service this Sunday.

We look forward to worshiping with you!

Blessings,

Caleb
