“What is your number one priority in life? Your answer to that question reveals your dominant life value. Everyone has one, whether they realize it or not. It’s what we unconsciously base our decisions on.

Through this six-session, video-based Bible study, 40 Days of Love, pastor Rick Warren—author of the bestselling book The Purpose Driven Life—teaches you how to constantly focus on authentically loving God and loving others as your deepest desire and highest aspiration.

God tells us that our dominant life value is to love and be loved. Jesus once said that of all the commands in the Bible; two are most important: Love God with all your heart and love your neighbor as yourself.

In this six-session study, Warren shares practical, Christ-centered advice on how to authentically love God and love your neighbor as a normal way of life. With a focus on the spiritual truths of patience, kindness, truth, and forgiveness, you will learn to make love your dominant life value” (Excerpt from Saddleback Resources).

Session Two: Love is Patient, Love is Kind (March 29, 2023)

Service Info for Jan. 29, 2023

Dear Friends,

How are we doing regarding our recovery project, whether it is spiritual or physical? Some of us may be doing well; some may be ups and downs; others may consider whether they would keep doing it. All the outcomes are understandable when we reflect on this spiritual marathon. This Sunday, we will continue exploring Nehemiah’s book and study the fourth part under the title “Opposition to the Rebuilding” in the series “Rebuild Our Broken Lives and Others.” I hope that the Word shared from the pulpit tomorrow may help us find God’s guidance over our continued renewal of the divine race.

With this note, I would like to invite you to join us in our hybrid worship service at St. Andrew’s Fenelon Falls on Sunday, January 29, 2023, at 10:00 am. This sacred assembly will also be broadcasted live. A virtual fellowship through Zoom will take place for those interested after the service. The Zoom link below will open at 9:45 am. Before the service, the announcement slides will be presented to the congregation at the sanctuary and on Zoom.

FYI 1: Rev. Ron Wallace will lead us in worship next Sunday, February 5, 2023. As Interim Moderator of Ballyduff Presbyterian Church, I will provide pulpit supply leadership there that Sunday.
FYI 2: As stated before, the First Annual Gathering as the Newly Amalgamated Church will be held right after the Feb. 12th service. Your presence in person or via Zoom and your prayers for this critical assembly are greatly appreciated!

“Don’t be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your families, your sons and your daughters, your wives and your homes.” (Nehemiah 4:14).

Blessings,

Caleb

Service Info for Jan. 22, 2023

Dear Friends,

I want to introduce the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, starting this past Wednesday and going through next Wednesday. Under the harmonized ecumenical event, we will have a Reader Exchange in the Fenelon Falls Association of Churches (FFAC). Tomorrow Margaret Mark will attend a service at Fenelon Falls United Church and read the scripture reading on our church’s behalf. Patsy Carpenter from Immanuel Baptist Church will present the Holy texts to us for her church’s sake. It is not only sharing scripture readers with other churches but also having an opportunity to get to know the other congregational lives and pray about those churches’ ministries. We as a community are proud to witness the FFAC working together under the leadership of Pastor Matt Hayden, Trentside Baptist Church. We, as a local church, need to help one another. We need to pray for other divine assemblies’ growth and spiritual development. God can rebuild our community more strongly when we, as an individual sacred gathering, care about others in prayer and love.

With this note, I would like to invite you to join the Jan. 22nd hybrid worship service at St. Andrew’s Fenelon Falls. It might be a coincidence to find a similar theme to this Sunday’s message about the power of togetherness in God’s recovery mission. We will look at the third part under the title “Builders of the Wall” in the series “Rebuild our Broken walls/lives and others” based on the Book of Nehemiah. This divine gathering will also be broadcasted live. The Zoom link below will open at 9:45 am. Before the service, the announcement slides will be presented to the congregation at the sanctuary and on Zoom.

On top of this service info, briefly mention two things below:
1) As I stated last week, the First Annual Gathering as the Newly Amalgamated Church will be held right after the hybrid service on Sunday, February 12, 2023. Please mark your calendars and save the date for God’s Kingdom Ministry. Your presence in person or online and your prayers are greatly appreciated!
2) I’ve recently learned that there are two Toronto/Ontario-based numbers for our Zoom assembly. You can dial 1 647 374 4685 or 1 647 558 0588 and join our hybrid service via phone. Your local number can be found in the below link:

“Eliashib the high priest and his fellow priests went to work and rebuilt the Sheep Gate. They dedicated it and set its doors in place, building as far as the Tower of the Hundred, which they dedicated, and as far as the Tower of Hananel” (Nehemiah 3:1).

Blessings,

Caleb

Dear Friends,

I want to begin with the First Annual Meeting of the Newly Amalgamated St. Andrew’s Church. Through this congregational gathering, we will look back on what God did in 2022 and look forward to what God can and will do through us in the coming year. This assembly will take place right after the hybrid service on Sunday, February 12, 2023. Please mark this date in your calendar and honour this important meeting with your prayers and presence in person or online!

With this note, I invite you to a hybrid service at St. Andrew’s on Sunday, January 15, 2022, at 10:00 am. Tomorrow we will look at the second part of the new series “Rebuilding Our Broken Lives and Others” based on the book of Nehemiah. We will learn critical steps for rebuilding the destroyed areas of our spiritual temples through this message. This sacred gathering will also be broadcasted live. The Zoom link below will open at 9:45 am. Before the service, the announcement slides will be presented to the congregation at the sanctuary and on Zoom.

“I also told them about the gracious hand of my God on me and what the king had said to me. They replied, ‘Let us start rebuilding.’ So they began this good work.” (Nehemiah 2:18).

Blessings,

Caleb

Dear Friends,

This Sunday, we will launch the first sermon series of 2023 titled “Rebuilding Our Broken Lives and Others,” based on the book of Nehemiah. Through this study, we will learn divine principles of restoring the damaged walls and gates of our spiritual hearts. This recovering subject is not only designed for individuals but also groups. We, as Christ’s followers and Christ’s church, can have spiritual renewal when our sacred temples are transformed into the ones after God’s own heart. In the upcoming weeks, we will explore some godly steps of the rebuilding projects we may have for ourselves, our loved ones, our church, and our community. One fantastic thing from Nehemiah’s renewing mission is that all the refurbishing tasks he planned and practiced were done in 52 days when the people of Israel worked together for the sake of the Lord their God. I fully believe that, as little Nehemiah, we all can rebuild the broken of our lives and the damage to our loved ones in the coming days with the exact help of the Creator God!

With this introduction, I send you God’s holy invitation to a hybrid service at St. Andrew’s on Sunday, January 8, 2022, at 10:00 am. This sacred gathering will also be broadcasted lively. The Zoom link below will open at 9:45 am. Before the service, the announcement slides will be presented to the congregation at the sanctuary and on Zoom. Sunday messages and special events can be watched online later, and our church website info is below.

“They said to me, ‘…The wall of Jerusalem is broken down, and its gates have been burned with fire.’ When I heard these things, I sat down and wept. For some days I mourned and fasted and prayed before the God of heaven” (Nehemiah 1:3-4).
