On August 1, 2020 Rev. Dr. Stewart Folster and his wife Terry became the missionaries at the Mistawasis Memorial Presbyterian Church. Stewart is Ojibway and he is from the Brokenhead Ojibway Nations Reserve in Manitoba just northeast of Winnipeg. Terry is from St. Lambert, Montreal, Quebec. Stewart is the Stated Supply minister of the church and Terry works mostly with the children and youth and she helps out to prepare the services for special occasions like Christmas and Easter and Baptisms. Terry is also available to preach supply if the minister is away for a meeting or for some health- related reason. Stewart studied for 3 years with the Dr Jessie Saulteaux Centre in Beausejour Manitoba and 2 years by extension with VST. Stewart was ordained to Word and Sacrament within the PCC on April 21, 1996. Terry studied ministry at Presbyterian College at the McGill University in Montreal.
