Programs: We try to provide the things that most churches offer. We have worship services every Sunday at 11 am. We offer Sunday School to the children who are from ages 4 to 16. We offer Vacation Bible School during one week in July or August. Covid has had an effect on our ability to get programs up and running. It feels like we are beginning to see some signs that we can recover some of the things we have lost during this crisis. We are hoping that we can offer Bible study and a hands-on prayer night and fellowship to the community in the near future. Every fall we offer a Fall Supper fund raising night and we invite the other churches in Mistawasis to share in the event through the preparation and serving of the food and in the funds that we raise.
It is always a blessing to be able to offer the Holy Sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion. I think we did two weddings after that year of covid. And, of course, we offer to officiate at Wakes and Funerals whenever the families ask us to and when our minister is available.
