Worship is every Sunday at 11 am. We follow the liturgy of the Presbyterian Church in Canada but we have made some slight changes to make our service more user friendly. We have a family time near the beginning of worship where the minister will have a story time, an offering, and a prayer with the children. And after the children’s hymn, the children go downstairs for Sunday School.
The music is led by the minister and by whoever is playing the music on the guitar or the electric keyboard.
When there is a death in the community, the minister will often be called to do two wake services and the funeral. Sometimes the other churches on the Reserve (Catholic, Baptist, or Pentecostal) will be called to officiate at the wake services and the funeral.
We honor and participate in the traditional smudging or pipe ceremonies if they are requested by the families during the funeral services.
