Church News and Service Information for September 6th, 2026

Dear Friends in Christ,

As we approach our fourth church anniversary, it is deeply fitting for us to gather around the pulpit and reflect on the sacrificial life of Jesus – the spiritual kernel of wheat and founder of our faith community. Alongside our Lord, it is also appropriate for us to honor the many dedicated servants of God who have blessed our congregation over the years by living as faithful kernels of wheat. Their witness and legacy will be highlighted during this Sunday’s sermon, titled “Kernel of Wheat.”

Furthermore, as the amalgamated congregation of Glenarm and Fenelon Falls, this is a meaningful time to remember our sacred connection to Glenarm Cemetery. Between 1855 and 1857, one acre of land was purchased for twenty dollars to build the original Knox Church, known back then as the ‘Long’ or ‘White’ Church on those grounds. Those laid to rest there may not be famous in the eyes of the world, but we know who they were, and we remember how generously they gave of their lives –like seeds planted in faith. During this Sunday’s worship, we will share a special video from our recent Decoration Service at Glenarm Cemetery honoring their memory.

With this joyful reflection in mind, I warmly invite you to join us for our hybrid worship service at St. Andrew’s, Fenelon Falls, on Sunday, September 6, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.

We look forward to worshiping with you—whether in person or online!

Blessings,

Caleb
